In 1965 dad accepted his first post as a Consultant Bacteroiologist in Birmingham - Little Bromwich/Yardley Green. This was East Birmingham Hospital and Solihull Hospital. Dad and mum moved to 32 Silhill Hall Road, Solihull where they lived for the rest of their lives.
